LIFEREDO PRIVACY POLICY

1. INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE

You decide what information to enter. The application processes the information you submit in LifeRedo or Life Changer.

LifeRedo may include:

• age
• sex / gender selection
• country you are from
• optional personal description
• year of the life moment you want to change
• city and country where you were living then
• occupation or what you were doing then
• turning-point / event information
• optional additional events from that year
• relationship information from that time
• children information from that time
• the add / remove / change request
• optional reason or what you wanted at the time

Life Changer may include:

• age
• country
• occupation
• optional city
• optional personal description
• the decision or change you are considering
• optional additional context

Please do not submit:

• passwords
• financial account information
• government identification numbers
• highly sensitive personal information
• another person's personal information

2. HOW YOUR INFORMATION IS USED

Information you submit is used to:

• generate the fictional LifeRedo or Life Changer scenario you requested
• operate and maintain the application
• prevent abuse through rate limiting
• diagnose technical problems and improve reliability

LifeRedo does not use your information to make real-world decisions about you, to sell advertising against your profile, or to create a permanent user account profile.

3. AI PROCESSING

LifeRedo and Life Changer send the information you submit to OpenRouter, a third-party AI service, so that the requested fictional alternate-life or alternate-future text can be generated.

This means that information such as your profile details and free-text life narratives may be included in an AI request. Do not enter information you would not want processed by a third-party AI provider.

OpenRouter and the AI models available through it have their own privacy policies and terms. Their handling and retention of data is governed by those policies and terms.

AI-generated responses are fictional entertainment. They may be inaccurate, speculative or humorous.

4. IP ADDRESS AND RATE LIMITING

The application uses your IP address for abuse prevention and rate limiting on LifeRedo and Life Changer requests.

When rate limiting is enabled, a rate-limit counter associated with your IP address is retained for approximately 24 hours. The application does not store your complete LifeRedo or Life Changer profile against that rate-limit record.

5. STORAGE

• LifeRedo and Life Changer do not require a user account or registration.
• Your answers are held in your browser's sessionStorage while you complete a session.
• Generated stories are held in memory for display and are not saved as a permanent user record by the application.
• Your locally stored answers are cleared when you use the application's restart, start-again or try-another controls.
• Clearing browser or site data also removes locally stored application data on that device.

Information sent to third-party services such as OpenRouter is subject to those services' own privacy policies and retention practices.

6. COOKIES AND LOCAL STORAGE

LifeRedo does not use advertising or analytics cookies as part of the application.

• sessionStorage is used for LifeRedo and Life Changer form data during your session.
• localStorage may be used to remember that you have dismissed the application's installation prompt.

7. DATA SHARING

LifeRedo and Life Changer may share information you submit with the following services as necessary to operate the application:

• OpenRouter — receives submitted profile and narrative information to generate the requested fictional scenario.
• Redis — may receive your IP address for abuse prevention and rate limiting.

Other application features may use third-party services for historical information or image generation. Personal-life information submitted to LifeRedo or Life Changer is not sent to those services for those purposes.

8. DIAGNOSTICS AND LOGS

The application may record limited technical information needed to diagnose errors and maintain reliability, such as request timing, model information and response characteristics.

The application is not designed to keep complete LifeRedo or Life Changer prompts as diagnostic records. In some cases, limited information about an AI response may be recorded when investigating an error or suspicious output.

9. ACCOUNTS

LifeRedo does not require user accounts, registration or login. There is no account profile stored by the application for LifeRedo or Life Changer.

10. DELETION AND PRIVACY REQUESTS

Because LifeRedo does not maintain user accounts or a database of user profiles, there is no account-deletion function.

You can clear locally stored information through the application's restart, start-again or try-another controls, or by clearing your browser or site data.

LifeRedo cannot delete information from third-party services when the application does not have control over that information.

11. NATURE OF THE OUTPUT

LifeRedo and Life Changer generate fictional entertainment scenarios. They are not predictions and should not be treated as:

• medical advice
• financial advice
• legal advice
• professional advice
• factual predictions about someone's future

12. CHILDREN

LifeRedo is not directed at children. Do not provide personal information about children through the application.

13. INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING

LifeRedo is delivered over the internet and uses third-party services that may process information in countries other than the country where you live.

14. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the application or its data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
